Fareconnect & RIU Resorts Mega Fam
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be an active Fareconnect Travel Advisor.
- Must be actively selling leisure travel and all-inclusive vacations.
Note – New agents may apply; however, acceptance is based on availability and demonstrated commitment to the travel industry.
Participation Requirements
Agents must attend all scheduled:
- Resort site inspections
- Supplier presentations
- Educational sessions
- Group networking events
- Participation in social media promotion during and after the FAM is encouraged.
Application Process
- Complete the online application form.
- FAM space is limited (40 agents).
Costs
- Agents are responsible for their own airfare, tips and transfers
- Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
Cancellations
- Cancellation penalties may apply after confirmation.
- No-shows may affect eligibility for future Fareconnect FAM programs.
Professional Expectations
- Participants are ambassadors for Fareconnect and RIU Resorts and are expected to conduct themselves professionally throughout the event.
Selections
Selection priority may be given to agents who:
- Demonstrate active sales production.
- Participate in Fareconnect events and webinars.
- Have not recently attended a RIU-sponsored FAM.
Deadlines
- Registration is open and closes on the 15th of July 2026
- Confirmation emails will be sent to agents on or before the 20th of July 2026
- Agents that are accepted for the FAM must have flights booked by the 31st of July and the itinerary sent to [email protected]. Agents who do not send flights by that date will be removed from the list.
Waitlist
As these FAMs tend to be popular, we will be creating a waitlist. Agents on the Waitlist will be informed on August 1st if they have secured a spot. They will have until the 15th of August to book flights and submit to [email protected].
